Eczacıbaşı Group, the founding sponsor of İKSV, decided to provide an additional support of 35 million Turkish Liras (TL) to the foundation to ease the adverse effects of the pandemic.

As a foundation, İKSV relies on the support of its viewers, members, public and private sector, and other NGOs. Throughout the pandemic, the foundation had to carry out its activities with a limited programme and a limited number of viewers, which negatively affected the balance of İKSV's budget: the foundation completed the year 2020 with a loss of nearly 10 million TL.

Eczacıbaşı Group, the founding sponsor of İKSV, took a vital step towards eliminating the financial difficulties that the foundation has faced in the past year, and decided to provide an additional financial support that will extend over the next 3 years. Throughout this period, Eczacıbaşı Group will allocate a total of 35 million TL to İKSV, strengthening its financial structure and enabling the foundation to continue its contributions to culture and arts in the coming years.

With this additional support of the Eczacıbaşı Group, the negative effects of the pandemic on the budget of İKSV will be erased, while the foundation, which is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2022, will have a sustainable and resilient financial structure.

İKSV has been working non-profit for the development of culture and arts in Turkey and around the world since its establishment, and will continue its efforts to contribute to artistic production and growth of culture.
