A new children’s book at the İstanbul Jazz Festival

The Istanbul Jazz Festival’s children’s book titled Jazz in Colours, which was inspired by the rainbow to introduce different elements of the colourful world of jazz to young music lovers, was introduced to children and their families at a special event during A Childish Day. The book was prepared by Burcu Ural Kopan under the guidance of Prof. Feyza Çorapçı, illustrated by Macide Damla Akyürek, with texts by Batu Akyol, Feridun Ertaşkan, Yekta Kopan, Sibel Köse, Pelin Opcin, Hülya Tunçağ and Buket Uzuner. Kenan Doğulu, Cenk Erdoğan, Zuhal Focan, Harun İzer, Ozan Musluoğlu, Ayşe Tütüncü and Fahrettin Yarkın also contributed to the book with their answers to various questions.

Jazz in Colours, the fourth children’s book published by İKSV with the support of the Bernard van Leer Foundation, was introduced at a special event during A Childish Day.
