From visionary director Tim Burton, and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable motion picture experience: adapted from Ransom Riggs' bestselling novel, "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children".

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" follows Jake, who discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, uncovering a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" was adapted to screen from the novel of the same title written by one of the most spectacular figures of fantastic fiction recently, Ransom Riggs. "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" was published in 2011, went straight up to number 1 in children's literature where it stayed for 45 weeks. Two follow-up novels were published, both written by Riggs: "Hollow City" in 2014 and "Library of Souls" in 2016.
Riggs: "I grew up loving Tim's movies. 'Edward Scissorhands' and 'Beetlejuice' and' Ed Wood' and 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure' - all these beautiful, quirky films about outsiders searching for their place in the world appealed to me. In the meantime, Burton comments for Riggs: "The book had elements of a folk tale, or a fable. If you go back before films, fairy tales were these horrible, graphic stories."

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" follows Tim Burton's "Big Eyes". The film's screenwriter is Jane Goldman, who had co-scripted the blockbusters "Kingsman", "X-Men: First Class", "Kick-Ass" and "Stardust".
Tim Burton is a leading name in fantastic cinema, directing films which include "Beetlejuice" (1988), "Edward Scissorhands" (1990), "The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), Ed Wood (1994), Mars Attacks! (1996) Sleepy Hollow (1999), Corpse Bride (2005), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), and Planet of the Apes (2001). A producer, designer, animation artist, and painter as well, Tim Burton is one of the most creative directors of our time who has made films in several genres and styles, including horror, fantasy, gothic, animation, and even musical.

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" will have its world premiere at Austin Fantastic Fest on September 25, and will open in theatres in Turkey on 30 September. Tickets will be available at Biletix and İKSV as of 24 September.
