The concert was attended by around 5,000 music lovers and was highly praised.

Described as a "musical travel writer," Loreena McKennitt also gave her first TRNC concert as part of her tour following her visit to our country which she had last visited 13 years ago as part of the Istanbul Jazz Festival.

The artist performed songs from her studio album An Ancient Muse, released in 2006 and nominated to Grammys and also performed the song "Sacred Shabbat," which was based on a famous song titled "Kâtibim (Üsküdar'a giderken)," as well as the song "The Gates of Istanbul" which stands out with its use of oud and violin.
