KüçükÇiftlik Park, Maçka
Norwegian indie musician Ane Brun was in Istanbul once again, a year after her Salon İKSV performances, on Friday, December 12 at KüçükÇiftlik Park.
Norwegian songwriter, singer and guitarist Ane Brun, who formerly performed twice at Salon İKSV in 2011 and 2013, was in Istanbul for the third time. Brun amazed the Istanbulites again with her solo acoustic performance.
After her debut album, Spending Time with Morgan (2003), Brun was awarded with "Best Female Artist" at Norway Grammy Awards with the album Temporary Dive (2005). Her last studio album It All Starts with One was released in 2011. Ane Brun celebrated her 10th year in music by releasing a retrospective album last year. As part of the album tour, Brun met her fans at Salon İKSV in November 2013 with three memorable performances. Highly acclaimed with her different styles on the stage, a meditation place for her, Brun had all her Salon İKSV performances sold out days before the concerts.
Brun was in Istanbul with her brand new songs as well as covers of Ain't No Cure For Love (Leonard Cohen), From Me To You (The Beatles), It's Alright (Baby's Coming Back) (Eurythmics) from latest album, Rarities (2014). As the opening act of the concert, Swedish singer and songwriter Alice Boman performes at the KüçükÇiftlik Park stage with her smooth and relaxing voice.
