Bahar Oganer studied art in Dokuz Eylül University’s Fine Arts Faculty. 

The Atelier, which hosted Bahar Oganer and her sculptor husband Ozan Oganer from Izmir in early 2010, became a stepping stone in artists’ career and led her to present her artworks at Cité des Arts, the USA and the Middle East. Solo exhibitions include Gizli Bahçe, Alan İstanbul (2011); Kristal, Dirimart, Istanbul (2009) and Rüya (2008). Group exhibitions of the artist are Bela Arama Motoru, Koridor Gallery, Izmir (2006); Asit ve Toz, K2 Art Center, Izmir (2007); Küçük Jestler, Yeni Öyküler, Koridor Gallery, Izmir (2007); 28th Modern Artists Istanbul Exhibition, Aksanat, Istanbul (2009); Plastic Tree Vol III curated by Ekrem Yalçındağ, Dirimart, Istanbu (2009)l; Dirimart Presents and Dirimart Presents II (2009), Dirimart, Istanbul; Art – Athina, Athens International Contemporary Art Fair (2009).
