The İKSV Archive functions as a research centre where the printed, visual and audio archive contents of the events held since the foundation of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts are made available to everyone faster, easier and more thoroughly.

Nearly 15,000 files on artists and artworks, more than 600,000 photos from events and video recordings, as well as more than 150,000 national and international press reports, event catalogues and posters held in the archive are also presented to researchers. Researchers can benefit from the archive in the Nejat Eczacıbaşı Building in Şişhane by appointment.

The archive also includes a library with a collection in creative fields such as design, architecture, cinema, theatre, music and jazz; created with the support of Istanbul Development Agency in 2014.

You can send an e-mail to arsiv@iksv.org to browse and work at the İKSV Archive and benefit from the library.
