S International Equestrian Center

Organized by the Istanbul Foundation of Culture and Arts, and sponsored by Total, Jockey Club of Turkey and Arkas, The Zingaro Theatre's show Battuta was held on the 24th and 25th of May, 2006. The show hosted by S International Equestrian Center met with the Istanbul audience.

Theatre Zingaro's shows were presented as part of the "French Spring" supported by the French Government and as the Special Show of the 4th International Theatre Olympics and were held with the media sponsorship of Kanal D and Milliyet Daily and with the support of the French Cultural Centre (Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir), AFAA and Air France. Renault was responsible for the transport of the Zingaro Theatre.

With breathtaking dancers on horseback accompanied by energetic Roma tunes, Battuta show tells a story that oscillates between dream and reality. 16 talented dancers, a Roma band of 15 musicians and 36 specially trained horses participated in this show. The Zingaro Theatre whose every show is highly appreciated and acclaimed mesmerized the audience with its last show held on Thursday, May 25.
