Acclaimed world-wide since the 1960s with his concerts all around the world, legendary musician Paul Anka perfomed for his fans in Istanbul in a special concert held on 14 November, 2011 by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts under the sponsorship of ING Private Banking.

Accompanied by his 13-person orchestra, Paul Anka performed his hit songs without leaving the stage for two hours. The crowd cheered for his classics such as "Diana", "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" and "Lonely Boy."

The artist also performed his own songs such as "My Way" written for Frank Sinatra and "She's a Lady" composed for Tom Jones, along with The Everly Brothers classic "Bye Bye Love" and the theme song of Martin Scorsese's famous film New York, New York which is best remembered for Liza Minelli's rendition.

With the accompaniment of Michael Jackson's voice, Paul Anka also sang the song "This is It," a song that he wrote together with Jackson in 1983 but was released after Jackson's death in 2009.

With his album sales exceeding 80 million all around the world and 60 platinum records, musical legend Paul Anka's concert was attended by almost 3,000 people in Istanbul.
