The 3D science-fiction adventure Ready Player One will be screened on 28 March at 21.30 at Cinemaximum City’s Nişantaşı. Ready Player One is set in 2045 when global warming, economic breakdown and over-pollution has brought the world to chaos. To escape from the burden of real life, people have resorted to a virtual game called OASIS. Young Wade Watts who has been playing to locate the Easter egg the founder of the game has installed, needs to confront the players of an evil corporation. 

Adapted from the bestselling novel of Ernest Cline, Ready Player One features many references to popular culture figures and icons such as Lara Croft, The Lord of the Rings, and Freddy Krueger. The cast of Ready Player One includes Olivia Cooke, Tye Sheridan, Ben Mendelsohn, Simon Pegg and T.J. Miller. Multi-Oscar-winning director and producer Steven Spielberg’s latest film features music by Alan Silvestri. To open on 30 March in Turkey, the preview screening of Ready Player One will be on 28 March. Tickets will be available as of 22 March.
