Joanna is a modern girl. She has a boyfriend, loving parents, many friends... But she has a calling. Since her childhood days, she longs to be a nun... sincerely. This is the story of Joanna, who gives up her life, to pursue this calling. At the convent she joins a wealth of nuns, each one an eccentric herself: the political activist Ignatius, the psychotic Mother Superior, the alcoholic gardener nun, and the over-pious Sister Hilda... The Calling is an unusual drama, engaging with questions about sex, mental health and moral responsibilities, while revealing the secrets of an unknown world.
