Born 1992 in Adana, Hande Küden completed her undergraduate studies at Çukurova University State Conservatory, where she set foot at the age of 9 with her violin. Küden pursued her graduate studies at Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin as the student of Stephan Picard and was presented with first prizes at the category b of the 2nd Gülden Turalı National Violin Competition, the 14th International Chamber Music Competition for Young Musicians, and Necdet Remzi Atak Violin Competition. She also collected the first prize at the 3rd Chamber Orchestra Competition by Yaşar University together with Lepidus Kuartet, which she had been a member of since 2011. She performed Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with Hüseyin Sermet and Efe Baltacıgil in the company of Turkey Youth Philharmonic Orchestra at Berlin Konzerthaus and Beethovenfest Bonn. Having performed next to many orchestras as a soloist including the Presidential Symphonic Orchestra, Istanbul State Symphonic Orchestra, and Turkey-Armenia Youth Orchestra, Küden also served as konsertmeister for Istanbul-Essen Youth Orchestra, and principal second violin for Turkey-Germany Youth Orchestra. She joined Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra when she was 18 after passing orchestra’s exams as the most successful applicant. The young violinist later passed the exams of Deutsche Symphonie Orchesterakademie in 2012, and gave recitals in Russia, Republic of Tatarstan and Germany as a member of the orchestra.
